Skillebyholm

Educational Marketing for Biodynamic Leadership
As Skillebyholm transitioned toward vocational college status and broader public recognition, they needed marketing materials that could compete with mainstream horticultural education whilst communicating the unique value of biodynamic learning. Two complementary leaflets were required: one targeting prospective students seeking specialised courses, another positioning Skillebyholm as a credible venue for conferences, visits, and biodynamic education.

Biodynamic education faces an awareness gap—most people understand organic farming but remain unfamiliar with biodynamic principles and their practical applications. The challenge was presenting this specialised agricultural approach as professionally credible rather than alternative or esoteric, ensuring Skillebyholm could compete effectively with conventional horticultural programmes.

Working within the modernised brand identity we'd previously developed, I created two distinct yet cohesive leaflets that leverage the school's refreshed logo, colour palette, and typography system. Each leaflet serves a specific audience whilst reinforcing Skillebyholm's positioning as a serious educational institution.
The course leaflet emphasises practical skills and professional development opportunities, presenting biodynamic education as advanced rather than alternative. The venue leaflet positions Skillebyholm as a contemporary centre for sustainable agriculture, suitable for conferences and professional gatherings.
Photography showcases real activities and spaces, demonstrating the hands-on, professional nature of biodynamic education whilst the clean typography and layout signal academic credibility.

These leaflets work as practical tools in Skillebyholm's transformation from specialised school to recognised higher education institution. By presenting biodynamic education through contemporary, professional design, they help bridge the gap between traditional agricultural wisdom and modern educational expectations.
